Samvel Safaryan /25/ – Liza’s fiancée. He fought in Martakert, where he was wounded. He became a soldier in 2014 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2016. He was wounded several times and is now discharged and on disability benefits. He says that if war broke out again, he would definitely go back, but they wouldn’t let him. He was decorated for being a hero, but he doesn’t consider himself one, he thinks he was just doing his job. He has had many shrapnels removed from his body, but he still has one about 4cm deep in his brain, so they are afraid to touch it. He and Liza plan to get married later on.
