Babayan Haykanush /93/ She first fled during the first Karabakh war in 1988, this is the second time she had to abandon her home. She and her daughter, Irina, spent five days in the basement of a university dormitory when the war started. Later they were transported by trucks to the other side of the border. They barely had enough time to run back home and grab a few necessities. Currently they share a room at a refugee shelter in Yerevan.
